Good lake for children or families,20 pegs, stocked mainly with fish around 1lb mark but also a few larger fish for the occasional surprise. Stock includes koi carp, ghost carp, golden tench, green tench, barbel, chub, roach, rudd and ide

Horseshoe Lake: 37 peg lake stocked with carp to 20lb, bream 11lb, roach 2lb, barbel 3lb, chub to 5lb, golden rudd and tench.

Baggers Lake: this is the match lake of 37 pegs holding a very large head of carp at 1-3 lbs. Also around 30 fish of 7-20lbs, with roach, rudd, chub, bream and tench also present.

My son has has fished Timberland for a year or so now and invited me along. On my 1st visit at the beginning of April 2011, I had my 1st fish of the day within 20 mins, a 9lb tench, followed by a series of around 6 carp up to about 10lb. Will be bringing my little one over the Easter break so she can also catch the fishing bug. A nice pleasant and welcoming place.

I have been fishing there quite frequently from last September and my personal best fish has come out of there which is 13lb because i've only been fishing 1 and a half years. Looking forward to the new lakes and some bigger fish.
