Description

The Barnet & District Angling Club was started in 1933 by a group of keen local fishermen who wanted to provide fishing facilities to local anglers.

They are affiliated to the Ivel Protection Association and the Fishers Green Consortium. This means that in addition to their own waters, Barnet members can take advantage of the many miles of grade A River Ivel and the River Lea. They also have mutual arrangements with Tring Anglers and Luton AC, whereby members of the club can fish many of these waters on the B.A.D.A.C ticket.

This gives members access to many miles of canal fishing, as well as excellent and varied river fishing and numerous lakes. For further details of shared waters please visit Tring Anglers or Luton’s own website.

There are regular club outings and matches on all their own waters, along with several visits to other fisheries including commercials. Over the season they have many trophies and competitions to fish for, all done in a spirit of friendly competition.

B.A.D.A.C. welcomes all types of anglers into the club and offers many facilities for all types of angling. Whether your choice of fishing is just for pleasure or match fishing, they believe that the Club offers excellent waters, at a very reasonable yearly subscription and one that meets everyone’s needs.
