Description
Originally excavated over 100 years ago, the lake which boasts 5 islands, provides fishing for the specimen and pleasure angler alike.
Specimen Carp and Pike are frequently caught by the dedicated angler, while Tench, Perch, Roach and Rudd can be caught by everyday fisherman in any of the 33 swims, all of which are suitable for disabled access.
Longmoor Lake holds large Tench over 8lbs, Mirror Carp over 25lbs, Beautiful stock of Mirrors and Commons, average size over 15lbs, Large Pike over 20lbs, Roach, Crucian Carp, Rudd and Perch.
Day tickets can be purchased from car park ticket machines in the car park at each site - correct money will be needed as the machines do not give change.
Fishery Rules
- Fishing is allowed from 7am to dusk.
- A closed season applies
- Coarse fishing at night allowed by syndicate members only
- No barbed hooks or nut baits allowed.
