Wasing Fisheries offer exclusive, membership-only use of the extensive lakes and rivers situated within the Estate and Kennet Valley. The waters provide a calm, tranquil space creating not only a haven for those that appreciate and enjoy country pursuits but for an abundance of wildlife too including Bitterns, Egrets, Hobbies, Swans numerous Kingfishers, and a vast variety of specimens making it a truly special place for quality fishing.
The fisheries consist of 6 syndicates, 7 lakes and over 4 miles of river. The Carp & Tench Specimen syndicate lakes, Cranwells and Oxlease is distinguished by a number of impressive specimen Carp over 50lbs. The Carp & Tench General syndicate consists of 3 of Wasing's lakes, Shalford, Bottle and Staghead, expanding over 15 acres and boasting Carp up to 40lb as well as Tench and Bream. The Rowneys Carp and Course Syndicate offers challenging angling and a vast variety of fish within its 40 acres, including Carp up to 40lbs, Bream up to 16lbs, Pike up to 20lbs and Perch up to 5lbs, 8oz. Elephant Lake syndicate offers a secluded fishing experience and contains Carp up to 33lb and Tench up to 12lb. The River Kennet & Enborne syndicate stretches over 4 miles of picturesque countryside and a variety of specimens can be found including Barbel up to 17lb, Chub, Perch, Roach, Pike and Dace. Behind the gates of the fisheries, members can enjoy the fisheries hut which boasts a seating area, kitchen as well as photo albums of both historic and recent catches.
