Forty Acre Plantation Lake offers coarse fishing in the peaceful surroundings of a 132 acre woodland in Stiock, Essex
The fishing lake is 3 acres with a water depth of 4 - 16ft and a good range of fish [largest recorded 29lb] including: Common carp on average over 15lb, mirror carp, catfish, barbel & golden tench.
All nets should be dipped before use. Barbless hooks to be used at all times, bent hooks, fixed leads and stainless hooks are banned, no keepnets allowed. No Peanuts allowed. Groundbait should be kept to a minimum.
