It really can be a superb winter fishery when many of the other rivers and still waters in the area have slowed down. Our stretches contain good quantities of Chub, Roach, Dace, Pike and Perch, with Bream, Barbel and Carp also showing.

Their ponds at Ashtead and Bookham are popular with pleasure anglers enjoying good catches of Carp, Tench, Crucians, Perch, Rudd and Roach.
